Johnny Walker Whisky is brewed in Kilmarnock, started in 1820 by a young boy called Johnny Walker, who dreamed of blending the perfect whisky.

The Park Hotel, Kilmarnock
Built in 2002 Kilmarnock’s only 4 star hotel, The Park Hotel, is the first football stadium and hotel complex in Scotland. It is adjacent to Rugby Park, home of Kilmarnock Football Club, 10 minutes’ walk from Kilmarnock centre offering a unique venue. All modern bedrooms are en-suite with satellite television, in-house movies, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Café Bar, Blues Restaurant and lounge area. Lift to all floors.
FRIDAY : A morning departure by coach for your journey to Kilmarnock arriving in the afternoon. Dinner in hotel.
SATURDAY: After breakfast depart for Edinburgh where you have some free time before the evening Tattoo performance, after which your coach will return you to your hotel. (Dinner your own arrangement)
SUNDAY: After breakfast explore Ayrshire and Burn’s Country. Journey south to Girvan and then a scenic coastal route via Turnberry, Maidens, Fisherton and Alloway to the county town of Ayr where you have time at leisure before heading back to your hotel for dinner.
MONDAY : After breakfast depart your hotel for a scenic journey home through the edge of the Lake District arriving home early evening.
