TUESDAY: A morning departure you head North arriving late afternoon at the Best Western Buchanan Arms Hotel, Drymen for dinner and overnight accommodation.

This 3 star hotel a former coaching inn standing in the heart of the picturesque village of Drymen. The hotel really absorbs the ambience of the beautiful surrounding countryside and nearby Loch Lomond. Pleasant lounges, restaurant and bar. All bedrooms have bath or shower en-suite with telephone, TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Indoor swimming pool, & gym. Lift.
WEDNESDAY: After breakfast, a leisurely drive over the mighty Glencoe to Fort William where we join the Jacobite Steam Train for a single journey to Mallaig continuing on to the Morar Hotel, Morar for 2 nights dinner, bed & breakfast. You’ll have time to explore before returning back to our hotel. Dinner in hotel.
THE MORAR HOTEL, MORAR
Stunningly located on the seafront overlooking the breath taking white sands and the Inner Hebridean islands of Rum and Eigg. This traditional family-run hotel has recently been upgraded and has a panoramic restaurant, lounge and bar. All bedrooms are en-suite with TV, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. No lift – no ground floor rooms – all bedrooms are 1st or 2nd floor
THURSDAY: After breakfast we make our way to Mallaig to travel ‘across the Sea to Skye’. For a guided tour of Skye returning back to Mallaig. Dinner in hotel.
FRIDAY: After breakfast we take the ferry from Mallaig to Armadale on the Isle of Skye continuing on a short drive to the mainland over the Skye Bridge. We continue north through unforgettable scenery passing Loch Carron, Loch Torridon, Loch Maree, Loch Ewe, Gruinard bay & Little Loch Broome before continuing to our hotel The Royal Hotel, Ullapool for our two nights. Dinner in hotel.
THE ROYAL HOTEL, ULLAPOOL
This 3 star Hotel is thought to have originally been a coaching inn. The hotel has 54 rooms which are beautifully renovated, many with panoramic views over Loch Broom. All bedrooms have bath or shower en-suite with telephone, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, free wifi. Cocktail Bar and Waterfront bar. No Lift, Ground and 1st Floor rooms.
SATURDAY: After breakfast we venture North through Southerland to Durness where we stop at Smoo Cave hotel for lunch ( Included). Continuing our return journey to Ullapool on a Southerly circular route. Dinner in hotel.
SUNDAY: After breakfast we depart Ullapool and make our way via Lairg to Dunrobin Castle & Gardens where you’ll see the falconery display. We then continue our journey south crossing Dornoch, Cromarthy Firth continuing over the black Isle and Kessock Bridge to our overnight hotel Macdonald Strathspey Hotel, Aviemore. Dinner in hotel.
