Why not join us for the centerpiece of the Pickering events calendar for the ever-popular Wartime Weekend and includes a full programme of WWII and 1940s themed entertainment and events.


Friday: A morning departure we make our way to Harrogate for free time before continuing to our hotel the Crown Plaza Hotel, Harrogate. On arrival tea & coffee will be served. Dinner in Hotel.

Saturday: After breakfast we make our way to Pickering where you’ll have the full day to immerse yourself in the mood of the 1940s. Late afternoon, we’ll re-board the coach and make our way to our hotel. Dinner in Hotel.

Sunday: After breakfast we make our way for a visit to the
impressive Castle Howard where we learn of its rich and varied
history. There are also award winning exhibitions to enjoy as well as the stunning grounds and gardens. In the afternoon, we make our way to spend time at leisure in historic York, where you can explore its first class attractions including gothic York Minster, the Jorvik Viking Centre, the National Railway Centre and York’s famous medieval street, The Shambles. Returning to our hotel. Dinner in Hotel.

Monday: After breakfast we make our journey home returning to your agreed pick up point.
