The popular seaside resort of Torquay is our base for this lovely tour, which includes a river cruise and steam train excursion.
Monday: A morning departure we make our way to Torbay stopping en-route in Bath with some time to explore the city’s Roman and Georgian treasures continuing onwards to Torbay arriving late afternoon at the Headland Hotel where tea, coffee and biscuits are served on arrival. Dinner in hotel.
Tuesday: After breakfast we make our way to Exmouth, a lively town with 2 miles of golden sands for a delightful cruise on the River Exe followed by a scenic rail journey. (Dependent on tide times). Returning to our hotel. Dinner in hotel.
Wednesday: After breakfast our local guide will join us for a full day excursion through the beautiful scenery of Dartmoor taking in the ancient market town of Tavistock and hopefully the views of the lovely wild ponies for which Dartmoor is famous. Returning to our hotel. Dinner in hotel.
Thursday: After breakfast you’ll have a leisurely day to explore Torquay. Dinner in hotel. Friday: After breakfast we make our journey home arriving at your agreed drop off point.
