Today is a free day at leisure in Weston-Super-Mare. Steeped with Victorian history and dominated by a long stretch of glorious beach, there is plenty to do and see here. Why not visit the Grand Pier and enjoy the sea views or head to the Helicopter Museum and explore the world’s largest dedicated collection of Rotorcraft. Dinner in hotel.

 

This morning, we travel to Wells. Perhaps visit the historic Cathedral, famous for being one of the first Gothic-styled cathedrals in Britain and home to a large collection of stained glass. Take a stroll down Vicars Close, believed to be England’s only complete Medieval Street left intact. Dinner in hotel.

 

Our next destination is Glastonbury, here we visit the town itself before enjoying a guided tour of Glastonbury Abbey. Located in the heart of the centre, the site covers 36 acres of beautiful grounds, a museum, living history guides and historic ruins. The tour guide will complement your visit with knowledge and stories of the abbey and its history. Dinner in hotel.

 

Today we journey to the beautiful Georgian city of Bath where you have time to explore at leisure this morning. Perhaps visit the famous Roman Baths or the Jane Austen Centre. This afternoon we visit No.1 Royal Crescent. Step back in time as you explore this restored Georgian townhouse and gain insight into how people lived in 18th-century Bath. The museum is decorated and furnished to give you the best experience possible. Dinner in the hotel.

The Royal Grosvenor is situated on Weston-Super-Mare’s seafront providing stunning views of Steep Holm, Flat Holm and Brean Down. The hotel is approximately a ten-minute walk from the Grand Pier and Weston Museum and only five minutes’ walk from the Sovereign Shopping Centre.
