Thursford Christmas Spectacular

Excursions Included:

We depart from your preferred pick up location early morning and head to Fakenham for the Matinee performance of the Thursford Spectacular which is an extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, humour and variety. It’s a fast moving celebration of the festive season featuring an eclectic mix of both seasonal and year round favourites. With a cast of 130 this is the biggest Christmas show of its kind in Europe! (performance time subject to change due to availability) Returning to our hotel for dinner.

 

After breakfast we depart our hotel making our way back home with a stop in Stamford. Described as one of England’s finest stone towns, Stamford is a true gem with its beautifully preserved Georgian streets, medieval churches, and charming market squares. At Christmas, the town takes on an extra sparkle, with twinkling lights, seasonal shop displays, and a warm festive atmosphere. Stroll through its cobbled lanes, browse the independent boutiques and traditional markets, or simply soak up the timeless beauty that has made Stamford a favourite filming location for period dramas. Continuing our journey home arriving early evening.

 

KNIGHTS HILL HOTEL & SPA ****

Beautifully converted from an ancient group of farm buildings, some of which date back to the 16th century, this four star  hotel offers 79 bedrooms, all ensuite with TV and Tea & Coffee making facilities, all set in 11 acres of grounds. No Lift.
