After a restful nights sleep and breakfast we journey to the magnificent Blenheim Palace, famous birthplace of Winston Churchill. Christmas at Blenheim Palace is a spectacular annual event that transforms the historic Oxfordshire estate into a festive wonderland. Each year, the palace hosts a themed indoor exhibition, where the opulent state rooms are decorated with elaborate Christmas displays, often inspired by classic tales like The Nutcracker or Sleeping Beauty. Visitors can also enjoy a traditional Christmas market in the Great Court, offering artisan gifts, festive food, and warming drinks from over local 70 traders. Returning to our hotel for dinner.

 

Stratford Manor Hotel, STATFORD-UP-ON-AVON ****

The Stratford Manor Hotel is a well located for our base to  explore the sights of this pretty part of England. All bedrooms are ensuite with TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron & ironing board and Wi-Fi. Hotel has a lift.
