ITINERARY

Excursions Included:
After breakfast we step back in time with a return trip on the Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway, a beautifully restored heritage railway. Enjoy the charm of vintage train travel as you pass through the scenic central Lowlands. This afternoon we have some free time in Stirling, one of Scotland’s most historic cities. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the magnificent Stirling Castle (at your own cost), perched high on a volcanic rock and offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Dinner in hotel.

After breakfast, we stop to admire The Kelpies, the world’s largest equine sculptures, standing proudly at The Helix Park. Capture the perfect photo and learn about the legend behind these iconic structures. We then continue our scenic    journey north through Aviemore, nestled in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, before arriving at our next base, the welcoming Highlander Hotel in Newtonmore, where we’ll stay for the next three nights.

This morning, we travel to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, to board the Scotrail train to Kyle of Lochalsh. Considered one of the most stunning railway journeys in the UK, this route winds through majestic mountains, sparkling lochs, and remote Highland villages. Return to hotel for dinner.

Today, we head west to Fort William, where you’ll board the legendary Jacobite Steam Train – often dubbed “the Hogwarts Express.” This unforgettable journey takes you across the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct and along the picturesque route to the fishing port of Mallaig. Dinner in the hotel.
